Event: Pima College hosts NC3 National Signing Day

The event was hosted in the advanced manufacturing building of PCC's downtown campus. Fraud and loathing in Pima County

The report stated the account was created by an employee of a construction company contracted by the county, and the procurement department failed to obtain a tax form to change the account's log-in credentials for an online money transfer service, leading to the loss. The audit report also highlighted issues with the county's verification procedures and recommended measures such as staff training and creating a monitoring system for vendors. Hospitality leadership at Desert Vista plans to reopen catering branch in October

By QUENTIN AGNELLOPima Post It is no secret that the Desert Vista Campus is well known for its Culinary Arts and Hospitality program. However, the recent renovations to the campus’ kitchen and dining area have left the program unable to take orders or host catering events. This is set to change in the Fall, according to Jewel J. Mideau, academic director of hospitality leadership. Starting Oct. 21, the student-run service will resume catering operations with an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, including brioche french toast, traditional scrambled eggs, barbacoa lunch buffet and a taco bar. Pima Post Editorial Team According to @Pima News, "Pima Community College mailed W-2 and 1095-C tax forms via the U.S. Postal Service, Jan. 27 and Feb. 3, respectively. "Any employee who needs a copy may access them on MyPima. Login to MyPima > @Work page, scroll down to the 'Banner Online' box on the lower left side of the page. Select the Employee folder and Tax Forms. From the drop-down menu, find the needed tax form and the year, then select 'Display.' To print, choose 'Printable version' at the bottom left of the form." AGNELLOPima Post One Pima Community College student has proven her academic skill, compassion and determination. Kira Okuma, 25, has not only been chosen to be a part of the All-U.S. Academic Team. She has also been named one of the seven students to be in the All-Arizona Academic Team. Through this, they have been each rewarded with a scholarship worth $25k. “After shaking off the shock, I felt gratitude for every moment of kindness,” Okuma said in a recent e-mail.
