PCC Adult Education including HSE, ELAA and Refugee Education

High School Equivalency (HSE)
PCC offers the GED® test to earn a High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma. Students take the test on a computer at an authorized testing center. The test is offered in English and Spanish.
HSE Information

English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELAA)
If you would like to improve your English language skills, PCC offers you classes that focus on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills from beginning to advanced levels.

Refugee Education Program
If you have entered the United States on a legal refugee status, the Refugee Education Program (REP) offers you an English-language learning program. Instruction is designed for students from the lowest literacy levels through college entrance levels. Courses focus on practical English skills that help you function independently on the job and in daily living. Instructors are certified in Adult Education by the State of Arizona.

Emergencies: Calls to 911 are answered by the Communication Center at the Tucson Police Department or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and transferred to Pima Police, when required. PCC Police can be reached 365 days a year, 24 hours a day for emergency help.
