Puppy love: Pet a Pup event coming to Northwest library

By CARLOS MIRANDAPima Post Starting Oct. 19, you'll be able to get your dog fix. Pima Community College's Northwest Campus will host five Pet a Pup events. Ruby, a mini Goldendoodle, and her handler, Jeannine, will be at the Northwest Campus Library. If you can’t make it on Oct. 19, there will be four more days you can pet a pup: 10 a.m. Oct. 25, 10 a.m. Nov. 2 and 16 and 3 p.m. Dec. 6. This is a good opportunity to come down and pet a dog. What is STU 100? It is a class that prepares new incoming students for what to expect during their college experience and helps them understand how to prepare for their classes and get help in those classes if needed.
